If you love cooking with your Thermomix and find yourself recommending it to friends and family, you might enjoy becoming a Thermomix Advisor. In Ireland more and more people are turning their passion for food into a flexible side income or new career. Here is what you need to know about the Thermomix Advisor role.
What does a Thermomix Advisor do
Thermomix Advisors are independent contractors who represent the Thermomix brand through official Cooking Experiences. Your main job is to share your honest experience with the product and to guide people through the process of discovering, buying and using their Thermomix.
Typical tasks include:
- booking and hosting Cooking Experiences online or in person
- showing how Thermomix TM7 works in real recipes
- explaining official offers, payment options and the order process
- supporting new customers after purchase
- attending trainings and team meetings for new ideas and updates
You decide which days and hours you want to work, so the role can fit around another job, studies or family life.
Who is the Thermomix Advisor role for
You do not need to be a professional chef. You are a good fit if you:
- use your Thermomix regularly and know how it helps your own household
- enjoy talking to people and explaining things in a simple way
- are organised and reliable with appointments and follow up
- are open to learning more about food and about business
What support and training do Thermomix Advisors receive
Vorwerk and the local Thermomix teams provide structured training and ongoing support. This usually includes:
- product and safety training
- business basics and guidance on how to host Cooking Experiences
- regular updates about new features, modes and official promotions
- a community of fellow Advisors to learn from and share ideas with
As your Team Leader I also support you with practical tips from real demos in Ireland and the UK, help with your first Cooking Experiences and guidance as you set your goals.
How to become a Thermomix Advisor in Ireland
The first step is simply to express your interest. You can contact an existing Thermomix Advisor or fill in an interest form.
From there the process usually looks like this:
- we have an initial conversation about expectations, time commitment and support
- you attend Getting Started and Business Basics training
- you host your first Cooking Experiences with guidance
- you start building your own customer base at a pace that suits you
